Love yourself this February
February is often seen as the month you can tell your secret love how you are really feeling, with the hope they too will love you back.
However, we believe that as Valentine’s Day is about showing those you love how much you care you should think about your own wellbeing – or that of your massage business!
February can go either way after a month of clients with no money to book treatments. So why not have some incentives to encourage your clients back to your rooms?
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, you could easily provide a ‘love yourself, love massage’ offer and either give clients a small discount, money off their next appointment or even a small gift with each package bought – who doesn’t love a free cleansing stone or even a massage stone?
You could even offer a downloadable guide as to why massage is good for you. These are relatively easy to make – we even have some blogs with tips you could include – and by taking an email address you can boost your mailing list.
Which brings us to the next topic – mailing lists. Do you have one and if not, why should you? Essentially, having a mailing list enables you to get in front of your customers for minimal work. Here you can let them know any news from your setting, offers and available appointments as well as tips and advice.
Taking time out and creating a newsletter to go out once a month can see an increase in business. And by repurposing the content for your social media profiles, you can do half the work for both outlets.
Before you get your clients in your setting go in with fresh eyes and view it as a customer would. Does it look appealing? Is there a relaxing atmosphere? Are the aesthetics visually attractive? If you think there is something lacking your clients will too. Improve the look with some calming massage accessories, such as a relaxing waterfall incense burner, or even put up some posters advertising your services.
Whatever you decide to do this February, make sure you do it with love.
